I came to Dr. Berg with a thick, painful toenail that hurt whenever I wore shoes and made me self-conscious about wearing sandals. Dr. Berg and everyone in the office are all wonderful people! They all care a lot about their work, and their patients. Dr. Berg takes the time with every person who comes into his office, to find out exactly how to relieve their pain. He puzzled over my orthotics for months until we found the exact right fit. He embraces all kinds of treatment, he knows and uses old school methods, as well as fascinating modern tech. He's the best, everyone there is.

Although you may not hear what you want to hear about your foot condition, you will receive expert experienced gentle care here. Dr. Berg made sure I was comfortable during my treatment. He took considerable time in educating me and asking questions about my condition. He actually listened to me. I was impressed with his extensive diagnostic equipment helping to determine what was actually going on with my foot. I had been seen by previous podiatrists and Dr. Berg was the only one who actually looked and placed me under examination of my walking gait. I had an ingrown toenail that needed attention. I am a "wimp" for pain and was very apprehensive when I saw Dr. Berg. He explained everything he did step by step. I barely felt the needle when he numbed my toe (which I had heard was the worst part). No pain at all during the procedure to remove part of my toenail. For the next two weeks I kept waiting for my toe to start hurting. Never happened. Amazing! I just went back for my two-week checkup. Everything was great. I highly recommend Dr. Berg and his staff. Dr Berg was so accommodating and professional. Lost my toenail and Dr. Berg squeezed me into his morning so that he could remove the toenail and make sure my toe healed properly. What I was most impressed was Dr. Berg's beside manner. He made me feel so comfortable and more important, he set up the expectations of what the healing process was going to be. The next day, of course, he followed up with a phone call to make sure I was not in any pain and I was following his instructions to make sure the toe did not get infected.
