I contacted Dr. Berg's office because I've had a plantar wart in my foot, which had been there literally decades probably since college. And over time nothing had worked. Every treatment I tried, especially in the last 10 years or so, the wart just kind of laughed at me and responded by getting worse.

Finally, Dr. Berg's office sent out the information about this treatment called Swift, a new way of hitting plantar warts. I thought, you know what? Let's give it a shot. And in multiple treatments, this plantar wart, which had metastasized into a, what Dr. Berg called, "A vegetable patch" of warts all over the bottom of my foot, eventually went away completely. This hideous group of warts, which had been on my foot literally for 30 or 40 years, was finally gone.

Dr. Berg and I had looked at this problem years ago and he said, "Unfortunately, all these previous treatments they really weren't gonna work." And because even though my foot was really, really ugly, it wasn't that painful. And he had said, "Well, you know, if we treat it with these old fashioned methods, it probably will not respond." Which was a very honest thing for him to say that, you know, he could have said, "Oh yeah, we'll burn it off and it'll be fine." But he said, "No, these other treatments really don't work."

And it was only when this new treatment came out that he said, "Hey, you know what? I'm hearing this is a good thing. How about we give it a shot?" So after many previous attempts which didn't work, this Swift treatment really worked. It's really been a significant change that, you know, I can take my shoes off without being embarrassed. I feel like I can walk around at a beach or any place in public with my shoes off. And it's not the worry of, "Oh, somebody's gonna notice this horrible vegetable patch on my foot and run away screaming."
