One of the most common problems that we see in children are flat feet. Now, at age zero, all children's feet are often very flat, but by age five, they should grow out of this. Feet that remain flat after age five or six years old can create a lot of problems as children develop.

Children may not complain of pain at that age, but they may suffer from problems with balance, coordination, and strength. They may even avoid sports activities or not want to go on long walks with the family. If you're seeing any of these signs of problems in addition to noticing your children's feet are flat at age six, it may be time to come in and have their feet evaluated.
