Dr. Rion Berg
Dr. Berg has been practicing podiatry in Seattle for 40 years. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He has hospital privileges at UW Medicine and was the Chief Podiatrist at their Wound Care Center for over 15 years.
Dr. Berg was raised in Staten Island, New York. After attending the University of Michigan, he received his master's degree in physical therapy from Stanford University and his doctorate in podiatry from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. His post-doctoral training was with his father who practiced podiatry in Staten Island for 43 years and at Straith Memorial Hospital in Southfield Michigan.
While Dr. Berg thoroughly enjoys helping people of all ages get back to the activities they love, he has a particular gift for working with children. He takes great care to ensure kids have a great experience at our office. We provide a box full of toys for the brothers and sisters of young people getting treated.
Community Service and Family
As Past President of the Rotary Club of Seattle NE, Dr. Berg led ongoing efforts rallying Dollars For Scholars, building a Rotary Interact Club for high school students, and feeding the needy at the holidays. Dr. Berg spearheaded a "Shop Local" campaign for neighborhood businesses and with his fellow Rotarians past and present. He's worked with his club to sponsor the annual Lake City Pioneer Days Kid's Parade.
He and his wife Michele raised their three children in Seattle, have one granddaughter, and are often found sailing in their free time.

Lucy Gleeson, Office Manager
Lucy has been with our practice since 1989. She has an Associate of Arts degree from North Seattle Community College, which includes a certificate in medical assisting. She came with experience in reception, medical assisting and billing. She worked for 6 1/2 years in family practice and 5 years at Virginia Mason Gastroenterology Department. In our practice, Lucy's organizational skills and experience have been used in patient care, billing and for the last 15 years as Office Manager. Lucy and her husband live in Lynnwood. They have 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren. When not at work, Lucy and her husband enjoy spending time with their family, church activities and motorcycle riding.
Emilia Zottoli, Medical Assistant
Emilia Zottoli is our medical assistant and scribe. She graduated from University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology in 2020. Emilia is also a premed student and is working closely with Dr. Berg to learn as much as she can over the coming year.Emilia worked as a scribe in the DCH Health system in Alabama in the emergency department.
Born in San Diego she moved to Seattle when she was six. In her free time she likes to hang out with her friends, eat Mexican food, walk her French bulldog named Louis. She also loves to play lacrosse.
Lynn Chapman, Marketing Director, Patient and Community Relations Manager
Lynn Chapman started working for our office in 2012. Before working here she had a long career as a health educator working at a variety of positions at Public Health-Seattle & King County, the American Diabetes Association as their Program Director, the Manager of Outreach for Women and Children's Services at Providence Regional Medical Center, and as a training manager for the AIDS Education and Training Center at the University of Washington.
When she's not putting together marketing campaigns for our office Lynn enjoys hanging out with friends, puttering around in her garden, swimming, biking, and reading.
