Are you having pain in the ball of your foot? That includes numbness, shooting pain between your toes, and is aggravated by wearing shoes with a heel or hiking downhill. You may be developing Morton's neuroma.

What Is Morton's Neuroma?

Morton's neuroma is inflammation of the nerve that travels in the ball of the foot and out to the third and fourth toes.  It's caused by mechanical pinching of the nerve. It isn't a tumor, it's an inflammation, and an inflammation can be resolved. We find people who have this condition often get relief by walking barefoot or wearing flat sandals or flip-flops.

While this makes sense, you can't be barefoot all the time and you're certainly can't go around wearing flip-flops all the time. In order to get your foot back to health and find a pathway to resolving your pain, come in now, and let us help you evaluate and resolve Morton's neuroma.
